Radar technology has been the foundation of air traffic control for more than 80 years. However, newer technology, such as ADS-B, promises to change that. In this episode, I take a break from the interviews to expand upon a 'Instagram Live' discussion that occurred last week on @atcmemes. I talk about a brief history of radar systems, how GPS was made available to the public, and what ADS-B means for pilots.
