We've made it to the final episode of SZN 3 RAP Gang, and we are SHAKING. THE. TABLE! It's time we discuss the notorious KCMO vs. KCK beef. But as our lovely Cori puts it so plain and clear; is it beef or is it bullying when there's only one side that is the aggressor? When we say everything goes back to slavery, we mean it; and it's about time we talk about the history behind this pointless animosity that seems to only be holding us back. Now don't get us wrong, we love friendly competition, a good laugh, and some healthy repping of where you're from, but the hate that has ravaged the black community in KC, solely based on which side of the river you were born, is only hindering us as our city continues to grow and be occupied by both outsiders and people who do not look like us.
