Kids learn by imitating the actions and attitudes of their parents. Likewise, the people who have yet to meet Jesus learn who Jesus is by our imitation of his actions and attitudes. Sadly we are not doing a very good job because our imitation lacks the experience of a true relationship with Jesus, the willingness to listen and obey Jesus, and the fruit of Spirit, which is the character of Christ. Without these essential elements our imitation is nothing more than a poor caricature.
