This episode marks the debut of a new organizational principle for the program, that being themed "wind it up and let it go" episodes, each devoted to a genre, a band, a sound, an era, a set of related records - or whatever. I make an intro, I get out of the way, and the music does all the talking, as it were.

I'm starting with a "re-run" that's only about 6 months old - Dynamite Hemorrhage Radio #219 from July 2024, where I played nearly 90 minutes of the finest punk rock music from greater Los Angeles, California and 1977-1982 that you'll ever hear. Let it be a tribute to a place that is really suffering right now, as I write, but that has been the locus of many incredible music scenes for decades.
