This episode: It's awards season! From the Nobel Prizes to the MacArthur Genius Grants, there is a lot to be excited about as we recognize outstanding work. My guest, Jill Treby, CAE and AWTC Board member, loves awards season because it is a time when our members and stakeholders are praised and recognized, and awards help elevate professions and industries by raising awareness with the public. We talk about the many reasons to have awards programs, things you should do (and shouldn't!), and we discuss the concept of self-nomination.
