“I wanted to include lots of the ambient music that I’m currently listening to in this mix but for a lot of people out there ambient music can seem boring so I got to thinking about a conversation that I once had with Midland and he was saying about how he once went to watch one of the more well known ambient acts at a festival and was surprised at just how exciting the set was when in actual fact not a great deal happened for the three hours he watched them, he reckoned that it was all about creating tension and release in just that same manner as you would a longer techno or house music set. I set about this mix with this in mind, I’m pretty happy with the outcome and think it remains interesting enough for the two hours, gets pretty trippy in places and there are moments of great beauty, I hope you like the journey”
