Notes we take are like a future sediment, fragments and traces of what we find or think while wandering in the broadest sense, and which may enter works to come, directly, transformed or in abstraction. In a remarkable layering of sound, music and voice, with "The notebook readings" Marco Lampis revisits some of the notes he took some while ago, preserving them and at the same time translating them into a work of their own.
All sounds by Marco Lampis except:
01:46 African Head Charge – the Race (part one)
08:06 Asian Dub Foundation – PKNB
14:36 Burial – Truant
This piece is part of a series with interviews – Level Five artists being interviewed by Level Five artists – as well as other sound pieces which are regularly published on this site.
