* Remembering Chief Drue Lackey - JAMES EDWARDS, ThePoliticalCesspool.org - He joined the Montgomery Police Department in 1948 and worked his way up the ranks to become Chief of Police. Lackey was best known for fingerprinting Rosa Parks after she was arrested.

* Charlottesville "Unite the Right" civil trial begins, President Trump said there were 'very fine people on both sides. To make their case, lawyers for the plaintiffs are trying to combine online evidence with a somewhat obscure law from the Civil War era - Their strategy is anchored in a federal law from 1871 that is often called the Ku Klux Klan Act.
