The Junior League of Memphis is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Current JLM president, Erica Stiff-Coopwood, discusses the value of the organization and how they are pivoting by hosting their annual 5K / 10K, virtually. In response to the recommendations by the CDC regarding group/crowd size for gatherings, this year's JLM 5K / 10K Virtual Race will allow the organization to continue the event this year to help support their community programs.
