The #BritishInvasion was rock’s greatest and most influential period. 49 groups led by the Rolling Stones and the Beatles set a tone that still resonates today and is drawing a younger and younger demographic because of its broad appeal and the diversity of its groups and music.

However, with the passing of Charlie Watts, the Stones who still are rocking are nearing the end of their majestic 58-year run. When you take the 3 Stones who hung together for all those decades and the original fab 4, only 4 remain from the 7 and most of the other 48 groups have long since disbanded and many others have gone on to rock n’ roll heaven.
