In this episode of Jada’s Voice, I take you back to the beginning and share who my daughter Jada truly was before tragedy became part of her story. I talk about her younger years, her beautiful heart, her dreams, and the special moments she shared with her family. I also begin discussing the relationship she entered while in high school and some of the early warning signs that, looking back now, I understand differently. This episode is about remembering Jada for the life she lived while helping other mothers and young women recognize when love may be turning into control. In the first episode of Jada’s Voice, I return to the microphone after recording my last podcast, A New Beginning, in May 2025 never imagining how deeply my life was about to change. On August 15, 2025, I tragically lost my daughter, Jada. In this emotional introduction, I share the purpose behind this series and why I have chosen to turn my pain into a mission. Together, we will have honest conversations about grief, domestic violence, toxic relationships, depression, mental health, faith, warning signs, and healing. This series is for the grieving mother, the woman suffering silently, and anyone who needs the courage to seek help. Jada’s life mattered, her story matters, and through this series, her voice will continue to be heard.
