'Jas' Storrar lied about his age and joined the RAF aged 17 in early 1939. By the age of 18 he had shot down German aircraft over northern France during the retreat to Dunkirk and fought in the Battle of Britain. He went on to fly in North Africa during the desert campaign and later in northern Europe in the final year of the war. This is his story...
