Jesus espera que la mision continue. El sabe que el discípulo necesitara ayuda divina para cumplir con la misión divina.  Le dice a los discípulos que enviará un ayudador.  Espíritu Santo ayuda al discípulo por medio de animar su relación con Dios, ayuda al discípulo para que tenga el carácter de Cristo y por medio de suplir dones espirituales para que pueda servir a ambos: Dios y el cuerpo de Cristo (la Iglesia).

Jesus expects the mission to continue. He knows that the disciple will need divine help for the divine mission. He tells the disciples that a helper will be sent. Holy Spirit will help the disciple by encouraging his relationship with God, helping the disciple have the character of Jesus and by gifting the disciple with spiritual gifts to serve both God and the body of Christ (the church).   

Aunque la obediencia no se menciona directamente. El discípulo lo hará diariamente. El ha de cumplir con los mandamientos de Jesús y ser dirigido por Espíritu Santo mientras recibe de Jesus (la Vid Verdadera) aquello que es requerido para que de fruto que perdure. En ocasión podremos erróneamente enfocarnos en el cómo y el cuándo hemos de obedecer. Jesús nos ayuda a entender el porque debemos obedecer.  Debemos obedecer porque entendemos que nos tiene un gran amor, entendemos su plan que nos incluye y porque entendemos que no todos nos aborrecerán y perseguirán algunos escucharan y creerán .

Although obedience is not mentioned directly. It should be what a disciple practices on a daily basis. He is to keep the commands of Jesus and be led by Holy Spirit as he receives from Jesus (the True Vine) that which is required so that he may bear lasting fruit. On occasions we may erroneously focus on the how and when to obey. Jesus helps us to understand the why we should be obedient. We should obey because we understand his great love for us, we understand the plan which he includes us in and because not all will hate and persecute us, some will hear the message and believe.     

Permanecer en el amor de Jesús incluye un deseo de asirnos de su gran amor por nosotros. Cumplimos sus mandamientos no por temor, pero de Su amor que genuinamente nos motiva. Este amor se derramará en nuestras relaciones. Nuestros deseos y oraciones cambiaran

Remaining in Jesus’ love includes a desire to grasp how great His love for us is. All that He commands is done not from fear,                                  but from his love that genuinely motivates us. This love toward him spreads into our relationships. Our desires and prayers will also change because of His love for us. And all this, while enjoying the fact that He chose and appointed us to love others and bear lasting fruit.

What does remain in Jesus mean to the disciple? Jesus says that when a disciple remains in Him and His words remain in the disciple much fruit will be given. (John 15:7) Remaining in Jesus includes being founded in his redemption, provision, restauration, etc. His words remain in the disciple when the disciple is directed everyday by the teachings, instructions, and commands of Jesus.

Para el discípulo ¿Cómo puede permanecer en Jesús?  Jesús dice que cuando el discípulo permanece en él y sus palabras permanecen en nosotros se producirá mucho fruto. (Juan 15:7) Permanecer en Jesús incluye estar fundados en su redención, provisión, restauración, etc. Sus palabras permanecen en el discípulo cuando el discípulo es dirigido por las enseñanzas, instrucciones y mandatos de Jesús diariamente.

John 15 teaches us what Jesus wants from his disciples. Verses 1-4 speak as to the Fruit that the Father (gardener) wants from the Vine and it's branches. 

En el capítulo 15 de Juan recibimos enseñanza para ser discípulos. Estudiaremos los versículos 1-4 que nos hablan del fruto que Padre espera de la vid y sus ramas.
