Soraya Chemaly is an award-winning writer and media critic whose writing appears regularly in national and international media including The Atlantic, The Nation, Verge, Quartz, TIME, Salon, The Guardian and The New Statesman. 
Her book was part of the beginning of my awakening to realize how much work there is still to be done for women to live in a world where we feel safe.
