It's common to hear from others that romantic relationships take work.  But no one ever tells you that the older you get, so do real friendships.  Path diverge, life gets busy, and it's harder to schedule time to see the people you care about. Friendships ebb and flow and sometimes....they wash out to sea, never to be seen again.

It's a parade of buzzwords - serum, peptide, exfoliant, retinol, GLP-1. All these things are promising youth and perfection....but to keep it up, you have to be willing to invest your time and money FOREVER.

Gather round children, and listen to a few fourty-somethings tell you the tale of a time....before social media. We dive into how it started, how we've watched it become part of everyday life and the ups and (mostly) downs of it existing in general. 

Everyone has their own opinion about what a successful life in the arts is supposed to look like, and the time line it's supposed to take to get there. Well maybe everyone should keep their opinions to themselves.
