Pep Talk With Grace

Raglan Food Co // Episode 22

Listen Later

When Tesh and her fiancé Seb moved to Raglan eight or so years ago to live a self-proclaimed hippy lifestyle, they never imagined they'd end up running the biggest non-dairy yoghurt business in New Zealand.
After looking for a non-dairy alternative to fuel their love of yoghurt (because dairy has started flaring up Seb's allergies), Tesh started making coconut yoghurt in a small pot in her kitchen. When she made a big batch and had a few spare bottles she popped them on the Raglan Community Facebook page and straight away had a waiting list of locals keen to get in on the action. And the rest, as they say, is history...
Except it's not really – it's never really that easy, is it? The rest is actually five or so years of incredible hard work from Tesh, Seb and their team. From traveling the country with a chilly bin, cold calling supermarkets, to outgrowing machinery and equipment on the regular - as Tesh says, its been one big challenge (but a fun one!).
Tesh is such a warm, kind and successful woman and I can't wait to share her full story with you – from being home-schooled, finishing school early and not going to uni, through many jobs and small businesses along the way, all the way to where she is now – running Raglan Food Co with her fiancé, while still enjoying everything that Raglan hippy lifestyle has to offer.
Come join me on Pep Talk this week to hear all about it...
You can keep up to date with all of Tesh and Seb's adventures over on Instagram (@raglanfoodco), and find out your closest stockist to give it a try (trust me, you'll love it!) over on their website (raglanfoodco.com).
