Another week of local news and interviews. At the end of RTR a recording of an interview with Malibu Hamilton, when he was talking about surfbreak protection and housing. Before that an interview from this morning's Morning Show about neighbours and before that another MS interview about Raglan Club. In the news this week some of the census figures, including a rise in Raglan's population from 3,279 in 2018 to 3,717 in 2023. Council says some of the pohutukawas on Cliff St are suffering from too much traffic driving over their roots and the new buses to Manu Bay are a 2 year experiment. Trans-Tasman Resources' plan to mine sand from the seabed is being fast tracked, some Raglanites spoke to Parliament about government plans to burn more oil and gas and a lot more took part in the Whāingaroa Palestine Solidarity event on Sunday.
