A bit of local news, followed by Lorna Lusty, who wrote some chapters of the local history books and talked on the radio some 20 years ago, with recollections, such as walking over 2 miles to Te Uku School in the 1920s, afternoon tea at Raglan bakery (now George's), followed by the talking pictures in the Town Hall, but doing washing with a copper. Lorna also recalled the start of top-dressing, the Women's Institute, choirs and many other memories of the past.
