One of the biggest challenges in tackling climate change and environmental sustainability is how to generate clean, renewable energy for the entire world that is sustainable and does not negatively impact the environment. Global supergrids could be the answer, with its network of connector cables and high volage direct current providing the possibility of transferring electricity from where it is generated to where it is needed.
