comes to pursuing cases against BJP leaders - Vyapam Scam against the Madhya Pradesh government, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for their alleged help to businessman Lalit Modi in evading arrest and leaving the country. The BJP, however, claims that central agencies have possession of 'substantial' documents to prove that these cases against the opposition leaders were not politically motivated. Do investigative agencies act according to the wishes of their political masters? Has it become a norm for the government of the day to use these agencies against political opponents?
