Chris Barron (@ChrisRBarron) flies by the nest to talk about all sort of political things, but we started off talking about the Cleveland Cavaliers championship, instead. The importance of that NBA Finals victory to the city of Cleveland, and the whole region, is hard to quantify, but we gave it a shot.

Then there was talk about Trump’s net worth, financial filings, fundraising dollars, and whether or not any of that matters.

P.S. – Clinton is chicken and Trump is steak. That sounds heavily in Trump’s favor, but the steak is well done and covered in ketchup. So it’s shit.

We move on to an interesting sports conversation that essentially revolves around winning vs. marketing, and where you would fall on that spectrum as an owner, and Donald Trump.

Not to undersell the time we spent on Trump, but I start to get lightheaded if I type his name out too many times in one day.

Cameron is a die hard Browns fan, a former tugboat captain, a business owner, a stand-up comedian, and naive. It’s fun. Promise.

Lisa Durkin (@LisaSDurkin) settled into the nest to talk about her novel, The Gentlewoman. We talked about her time in Ed Fitzgerald’s Cuyahoga County Administration, and how that prompted the lead character, Rory Morgan, to pop into Lisa’s head.

In those long commutes, and even longer meetings, we learned how Lisa’s stresses led to Rory dealing with PTSD, and how the character and the author used each other as support in their own stories.
