Cheryl Procaccini, performing as Birdsong, is a multiple-award-winning songwriter and recording artist whose music celebrates nature, inspires children, and reminds all of us of our shared responsibility to care for Mother Earth. Her work has been featured in the Emmy Award-winning film Tidepool Scene and honored with the prestigious Parents’ Choice® Award for excellence in children’s media.
With a Bachelor’s degree in special education and a Master’s degree in social work, Cheryl created Birdsong and the Eco-Wonders to spark curiosity, joy, and environmental stewardship through the power of music. Today, her lively and educational songs are used by teachers and families around the world — from the United States to Africa, Europe, Asia, and beyond.
A passionate social entrepreneur, Cheryl reinvests her music and merchandise into creating meaningful environmental “edutainment” for young learners. Her commitment to environmental education has earned her an Environmental Business Award in her hometown.
