First up, we’re honored to chat with Dan Savage: author, sex-advice columnist, podcaster, pundit, editorial director, public speaker, and so much more! Dan outlines for us the importance of a “doable thing,” highlights the life-saving work of “It Gets Better,” and plays a game with us based on the hilarious descriptions of his wonderful podcast Savage Lovecast.

Then, we welcome author and historian Nathaniel Frank back to the show after an 8(!) year absence. Nathaniel’s new book is entitled Awakening: How Gays and Lesbians Brought Marriage Equality to America and it is a must-read. We need to know where we’ve been, folks! Or we’ll never know how to get where we want to go…
