Liz Webb shares how she captures orbs on camera, what they mean, and tips on how you can capture them on camera too.
We discuss the spiritual meaning behind orbs and how they are evidence of life continuing on after we leave this earth.
A professional performer, songwriter, pianist, bassist and teacher, Liz Webb graduated university with a degree in jazz flute and voice.
Her focus then turned to photography initially as an opportunity to be outside in nature and as a healthy balance to time spent in the studio and performing at night.
A 20 year long residency in a top ski resort afforded Liz the opportunity to spend time in spectacular surroundings thus sparking a love of nature photography, but particularly sunsets.
Being a naturally intuitive healer, created a desire to develop her mediumship skills.
While taking sunset shots Liz began to notice some distinct and unusual circular images appearing in her photos. These were the orbs to which Liz has devoted much of her recent years photographing and studying.
Her photographic work has sent her to many parts of Australia, Hawaii and the USA. A catalogue of over 5,000 photos are displayed on her Instagram site @amazingorbs.
In an attempt to become more acquainted with her chosen path of orb photography, Liz has also collaborated with colleagues in both Australia and the United States and conducted many tests to verify her theories in respect to orb behavior.
