The danger of having a natural ability to be so good at something is you lose the essence of what life is all about. Just because one aspect of your life comes easy as 1,2,3, you think everything else follows. It's never like that. It’s a fact that most in life come with a price - sacrifice, hard work, sweat, blood, struggle, and challenges.
If you have a hard time coming to terms with life’s reality, then it’s about time to seek help and recalibrate your life. Today is always the best day to start anew.
Sam Morris helps men slay their mental dragons without the whole world knowing. He was born and raised in The Green Mountains of Vermont where he was a competitive tennis player, golfer, and skier. He attended Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina, where he studied Sports Management and played #1 on the tennis team.
In this episode, Sam shares how after college, his tennis career came to an end, and he thought all was good… and it was… for a little while. He became a successful commercial real estate broker, but he became a mess after that. He was ruined and was suffering in all aspects of his life. He was out of direction. Then, he came to his senses and realized enough was enough and that he didn’t love himself; he became open to change and had to begin again.
And that’s when he dedicates himself to helping others by way of coaching.
“Getting on a high vibrational frequency are things like discipline, working out, eating well, meditation, it's treating yourself. It really comes down to lots of self-love. When you're disciplined, what you're doing is you're loving yourself enough to treat yourself well.” - Sam Morris
