1. WHAT IS FAITH?
Hebrews 11:6 — Without faith it is impossible to please Him; those who come to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Romans 1:17, (NKJV)
“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’”
Romans 10:8 (NKJV)
“But what does it say? ‘The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart’ (that is, the word of faith which we preach):”
Hebrews 11:1 — Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:3 — By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.
Romans 10:17 — Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2 Corinthians 5:7 — We walk by faith, not by sight.
Galatians 2:20 — We live by faith in the Son of God.
Romans 1:17 — The just shall live by faith.
Habakkuk 2:4 — The just shall live by his faith.
Mark 11:22 — Have faith in God.
Romans 10:9-10 — Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
Matthew 12:34 — NKJV: “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”
