As my book, Joyous Hell | A Life of Finding Joy in Suffering, is approaching completion, I felt called to share a bit of the story as it is Child Abuse Awareness month. I know God has given me this cross so as to help others who have been carrying their own form of it. After rewatching the recording, there are little comments I wished I had made. I think I will just create other videos. My vulnerability has opened many spaces for others to step into. As I share my story in person, countless people share their own and many follow it with, “I’ve never told anyone before.” Following these conversations, I have led many wounded souls to a place of healing through forgiveness.
