I recorded this episode after interviewing Cara Tyrrell (if you haven't heard that episode yet, it's a must listen to you for any parent). Cara had some great advice for me about Collaborative Parenting after I shared some insights about my boys' behavior and some challenges I was facing as I was focused on empowering them and getting some push-back. Cara recognized that my oldest son was showing signs of leadership and how I could use those moments of resistance/defiance as a way to further connect with him while still supporting my main prerogative of empowering him.
