In this episode, Jonathan and Maria dive into the first fruit of the Spirit: love. What does it look like for the Holy Spirit to produce genuine, Christ-like love in us—and how does that love shape the way we parent, love others, and disciple the next generation?
As we begin this nine-week journey through the Fruit of the Spirit, we’ll explore how growing deeper in our relationship with Christ allows His love to overflow into every part of our lives.
Throughout this series, we’ll be drawing from Scripture and insights from Good News for Parents by Adam Griffin. Our prayer is that this series encourages you to abide in Christ and allow Him to grow His fruit in your life and family.

What do we do when we find ourselves in a wilderness season—when life feels dry, uncertain, or we wonder where God is and what He is doing?
Throughout Scripture, we see that God often meets His people in the wilderness—not to abandon them, but to draw them closer, speak to them, and shape their faith. In the wilderness, the distractions are often removed, the noise grows quieter, and we are invited to slow down and listen for the voice of God.
In this episode, Jonathan and Maria explore stories of Israel, Moses, the Canaanite woman, and Jesus in the wilderness to discover what these seasons teach us about trusting God’s presence, receiving His daily provision, and pursuing Him even when He feels silent.
The wilderness may not be where we want to be, but it can become a place where we hear from God in deeper ways.
“The wilderness has no water, but it may have God.”
