As we navigate life with all the various hats we wear, it can be so difficult to try to get the balance right - especially as parents. Today's episode is to remind us all to be that bit kinder to ourselves as we balance life, family, business and everything that goes along with it.

With all of the various parenting styles out there, this weeks reminder is that you don't need to fit the mould of any particular style - Let's remember to seek God on how to raise the children He gave us and know that the 'parenting style' required may differ from moment to moment but ultimately our intentionality in raising our babies to be well rounded, amazing human beings is what matters most.

As parents there is always something that needs to be done, always another task on our to do list, forever 'one more thing to do' but today's encouragement is to slow down to enjoy the process of our little one's growing into the amazing humans they were created to be.

What are you speaking into your day, life and children? This week let's be extra intentional about how and what we are speaking.

This is an encouragement that you are already enough, whatever it is that God has called you to do, know that he called YOU for a reason - God's got you so you've got this!

Now I am the first to hold my hand up and say sometimes I feel like I'm winging this adult thing, but I've come to the realisation that no matter my age that feeling may not go anywhere for now. Life is a continuous journey and there will forever be more to learn about God, myself, my family and the world around us so even when I don't have all the answers I can have peace knowing that I will learn more as I go.

I am realising more and more that maintaining our relationships as adults requires us to be so much more intentional than we were when we were younger. As life changes, families grow, careers and businesses get more intense we have to actively invest time into our loved ones - especially our children. Todays podcast is a reminder to us all to take some time out this week to be really intentional in our relationships.

Ever had one of those mornings where it feels like you should just go back to bed and try again tomorrow? Maybe this whole week has felt like that for you but I want to encourage us all that a shift in our mindset towards the day can turn everything around. 

As parents it is so easy to be harder on ourselves than we would ever be on anyone else, there is always something to feel bad about, something we could be doing better. In our first conversation I wanted to remind us all that as long as we are doing our best we are already doing an amazingly!
