Redemption really has two parts:
•Part 1: redemption means to be set free from bondage
•It is being saved from something, being delivered out of something
•That is redemption from our perspective, the human perspective, being set free, being delivered from, through, out of a situation that you couldn’t perform yourself

Part 2: redemption is the act of regaining something
•Regaining possession over something that belongs to you
•This is redemption from God’s perspective, this is what God does through redemption
•He buys back what is rightfully His
