Suzanne Munson is a lover of history and author of books about America’s

Founding Fathers. She has just published The Metaphysical Thomas Jefferson and previously wrote a biography about Jefferson’s mentor, George Wythe, titled Jefferson’s Godfather: "The Man Behind the Man".

She lectures on the legacy of these two Founding Fathers at the college level and at various other venues. Following a career in corporate and non-profit communications, she turned her attention to writing and teaching. Her interest in history began as a child, hearing of the trials of her ancestors in 17 th century Jamestown-area settlements and the exploits of her pioneer forebears a century later on Virginia’s westernmost frontier.
