After being told so many times that I could not accomplish certain things because of my height, age, gender and just because statistics said the odds were against me due to my environment and upbringing; I felt a huge responsibility to prove to myself otherwise. My inspiration for this podcast comes from the "no's" and the "why waste your time" statements that I grew up hearing. I go over personal experiences and desire to succeed to show you that we need to have total control of our thoughts and actions in order to bring out the best of us. We all have rough moments in our life but we cannot allow that to consume us and defy us. Welcome to Defying the Odds!!!
