The Rakatans are extemely interesting Sentients with millenia of history in Star Wars. Predating the Jedi themselves, the Rakatan Infinite Empire is a story that I think all Star Wars fans (casuals included) will really enjoy. We got a name drop of them in Andor, and if Disney has the guts, they'll make more shows/movies based on the Rakata. They have SO much Lore and history in Star Wars that the kinds of stories are endless. Heck, even cover them as the villains for the Je'daii on Tython.
