Good morning, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist bringing you the latest forecast for the Raleigh area.
Tonight, we're looking at a bit of a cloudy situation with a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms. Temperatures will cool down to around 50 degrees Fahrenheit, with a light south wind keeping things mild.
Friday is shaping up to be an interesting day! Expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures climbing to a warm 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be picking up, starting at 6 to 11 miles per hour and potentially gusting up to 34 miles per hour in the afternoon. It's going to be a bit breezy out there!
Friday night brings a high probability of showers, especially before 3 in the morning. We're looking at temperatures dropping to around 49 degrees Fahrenheit, with west winds between 7 to 10 miles per hour. Pack an umbrella and maybe a light jacket!
Saturday will be a complete turnaround - sunny skies and a high near 61 degrees Fahrenheit. The winds will shift from west to northeast as the day progresses.
The weekend continues with partly sunny conditions on Sunday, with temperatures reaching near 57 degrees Fahrenheit. Monday looks absolutely gorgeous with sunny skies and temperatures climbing to a delightful 71 degrees Fahrenheit.
The early part of next week continues the pleasant trend, with sunny days and mild temperatures hovering around 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Looking ahead to Wednesday and Thursday, we'll see partly sunny conditions with temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to mid-70s.
