Good morning, weather watchers! Bundle up because we've got a chilly winter mix heading our way today in Raleigh.

We're under a Winter Weather Advisory, so let's break down what's coming. Right now, temperatures are going to struggle, with highs barely touching 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a northeast wind around 8 to 11 miles per hour, with gusts up to 24 miles per hour that'll make it feel even colder.

The big story today? Sleet and possibly some snow, mainly rolling in after noon. We're looking at a potential light dusting of less than one inch of snow and sleet. Wind chill values could drop as low as 20 degrees Fahrenheit, so grab those extra layers!

Tonight continues the winter weather drama. Sleet likely before 11 pm, potentially mixing with snow, with temperatures dipping to around 23 degrees Fahrenheit. Wind chills could plummet to 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thursday brings a slight reprieve with a chance of snow showers in the morning, gradually clearing to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will inch up to around 35 degrees Fahrenheit.

The weekend looks more promising with temperatures climbing. Saturday we'll see a high near 46 degrees Fahrenheit, and Sunday warms up even more with sunny skies and temperatures reaching 53 degrees Fahrenheit.

By early next week, we're looking at a nice warm-up with temperatures potentially hitting 65 degrees Fahrenheit by Tuesday.
