Good morning, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist coming to you with the latest forecast for the Raleigh area.
Today's looking like a crisp and clear day with plenty of sunshine. We're expecting temperatures to climb to a cool 49 degrees Fahrenheit. Bundle up, because those north winds will be dancing around 5 to 11 miles per hour, with gusts potentially reaching up to 20 miles per hour. It's sweater weather, folks!
Tonight, we're in for a chilly evening with temperatures dropping down to around 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect clear skies and calm winds - perfect for stargazing if you're brave enough to bundle up.
Moving into Monday, sunshine continues to be our friend. Temperatures will warm up slightly to near 54 degrees Fahrenheit with a light northwest wind. Monday night keeps things cool with temperatures settling around 34 degrees Fahrenheit.
Tuesday brings a taste of spring with mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to a pleasant 66 degrees Fahrenheit. But hold onto your hats, because Wednesday is bringing some moisture! We're looking at a 90 percent chance of showers with temperatures reaching a mild 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
The latter part of the week looks like a mixed bag. Thursday will be partly sunny with highs near 55 degrees Fahrenheit, and Friday brings mostly sunny conditions with temperatures climbing to 62 degrees Fahrenheit. Saturday might throw in a few surprise showers with a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
