Good morning, weather watchers! We've got an exciting forecast coming up for the Raleigh area.
Today's looking like a stunner with sunshine early on, then becoming partly sunny. Expect temperatures climbing to a pleasant 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Those northwest winds are going to be dancing around 11 to 16 miles per hour, with gusts up to 29 miles per hour - so maybe hold onto your hats!
Tonight, we're in for a cool treat with mostly clear skies and temperatures dropping down to a crisp 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Those northwest winds will calm down and become nearly still after midnight.
Sunday brings a bit of cloud cover with mostly cloudy conditions and a high near 59 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday night stays mild with partly cloudy skies and temperatures around 40 degrees.
Monday's got a bit of drama with a 40 percent chance of rain. Temperatures will hover around 61 degrees, and we might see a tiny bit of precipitation - less than a tenth of an inch.
The good news? Tuesday through Friday look absolutely gorgeous with sunny to partly sunny conditions and temperatures ranging from the high 50s to a warm 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
