Sitting #24 - Repentance.
The Quran and Sunnah order and encourage the servant to frequently repent to Allah.
A warning to repent immediately and not to persist on sins.
The five conditions of a sincere repentance. That a person:
Repents sincerely for the sake of Allah.
Feels regret and sad over their sin.
Stops committing the sin immediately. Includes restoring the rights of others if they were infringed upon with the sin.
Resolves not to commit the sin in the future.
Repents before the allowed time of acceptance and not after.
