Ramaphosa and Buhari agree on early warning system between countries . President Cyril Ramaphosa and Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari have agreed to set up an ‘early warning mechanism’ through which the two countries can share information, coordinate efforts and act to prevent any recurrence of xenophobic attacks. Ramaphosa hosted Buhari last week during a State visit, following a spate of public violence aimed at foreign nationals in parts of the country last month.
