Let’s speak now to an organization called Tourism Friendly. They would like President Cyril Ramaphosa and his cabinet to learn sign language as an apology to the deaf community. They say this is for delaying the process of recognizing it as an official language. Why do they feel the need to raise this issue on behalf of the deaf community and as far as they are concerned, is the deaf community being ignored?
