In the fifth episode of Ramayan, Rama and Lakshmana continue to accompany Vishwamitra on his journey to protect his yagna from the demons. As they approach the ashram of Gautama, they learn about Ahalya's curse and her need for redemption. Rama, being the compassionate and virtuous person he is, takes it upon himself to restore Ahalya's honour and free her from her curse. Meanwhile, Vishwamitra, Rama and Lakshmana face many challenges from the demons who are trying to disrupt Vishwamitra's yagna.
