Episode 157 (3 Sep 2021): Dr. Rami Zurayk (https://www.aub.edu.lb/pages/profile.aspx?memberId=rzurayk) is a professor in the department of Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management at the American University of Beirut (AUB). At AUB, Rami directs the Food Security Program and coordinates the Rural Community Development Program. Besides these topics, his work focuses on sustainable diets and nutrition, sustainable food systems, and the political ecology of food security and agriculture in the Arab world. He obtained his BSc and MSc from the American University of Beirut and his DPhil from Oxford University.
