It isn't often that a protest, particularly one against neoliberal policies, experiences success. But the Yellow Vests have achieved limited success after nearly a year of protests. We in the West have heard little about this protest because it isn't the kind of protest our government and mainstream media likes to talk about. Ramin Mazaheri is the Paris correspondent for Press TV and has been out every weekend getting teargassed along with the demonstrators.
