Seth - Huntington Beach City School District Closes and lays off 29 Teachers - Board meeting ended with trustees voting 3-2 to close an elementary school this summer, oust most transfer students and lay off 29 teachers. board members were set to vote on a “fiscal stability plan” allowing for baby steps toward the inevitable shuttering of a school. Brian - Sober Living Buffer Rule - An Ordinance was updated affecting Sober Living homes in unincorporated areas of Orange County that house 7 or more. It also tightens up a few rules for smaller houses. Seth - Santa Ana Police Ask For Help ID’ing a Homicide Suspect - Police in Santa Ana released video surveillance on Wednesday in hopes of identifying a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting at a local business. Police said after the shooting the suspect fled on a bicycle.
