This is my conversation with one of James Cameron's earliest collaborators: Mr. Randall Frakes.

Now the unfortunate thing is... Randall passed away, according to William Wisher, "a couple years ago." If you Google his name, though, it would appear as if he is still alive. I assume this is because Randall was a low-key public figure and the personal details of his life weren't updated or even shared publicly. But I trust Wisher and what he shared with me, considering him and Frakes were friends early on with Cameron and remained so throughout the years.
