Two Truths from Peter’s Preaching

1) Payment Accepted

• Cross: Jesus paid our moral debt
• Resurrection: God’s declaration — “Accepted”
• Result: forgiveness, freedom, relationship with God

2) God’s Verdict on Jesus

• Humans: rejected him
• God: raised him
• Verdict: Jesus is Lord and Christ
