In true December fashion, we roll out the discussion of stop motion animation. At this time, there was no one better than Rankin Bass, the animation team that brought us Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.

They brought us a bunch of others, too – Frosty & Rudolph’s Christmas in July, Rudolph’s Shiny New Year, Santa Claus is Comin’ To Town, and actual animated shorts, like ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas and Frosty The Snowman.
