Ranking Game Console Launches - Chat N Games Episode 22
Hey Hey everyone! Thank you for joining us another week to sit back and talk about video games. Given that the next generation console launch is upon us, we decided to look back at the game console launches in the past. Not only did we look back, we decided to have a little fun creating a subjective ranking of game console launches.
We just ranked based on the games available at launch. We did not rank based on the impact of technological advancement in the entertainment world. The rank includes the major console launches of the major console manufacturers: Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony and Sega. We excluded consoles that we lacked enough knowledge to give an opinion.
Here are the lists we used to determine games available at launch:
