Spooky season is upon us once again but rather than bobbing listen along as Brandon and Fat Tony smash the pumpkin of autumn’s past with a watch-a-long commentary for the original horror legacy sequel, HALLOWEEN H20.

In celebration of the 9th Anniversary of the Rants From the Black Lodge Podcast we countdown our respective top ten favorite films from the greatest decade for cinema, the 1970s.

The month of March brings to mind many things ranging from Leprechauns and St. Patrick’s Day festivities but to sports fans this month is special because of March Madness where Division 1 college teams duke it out for basketball supremacy... Here at the Rants From the Black Lodge Podcast we love our heavy metal and 2023 will continue our new tradition in the style of the famed NCAA single elimination tournament with a hard rockin’ twist. Tonight the Rant Army will album by album, song by song whittle down DIO’s stellar catalog to decide which head banging anthem will reign supreme. Album by album, each panelist will have 2 minutes to argue their pick for the best song and the tune with the most votes will advance in the tournament. In the event that each panelist picks a different song, there will be an elimination vote and the 2 remaining songs will be voted on with only one moving to the next round. This will continue until there is only one song left standing. Each album and song will be designated a random number to corollate with its bracket position to keep the match ups as unbiased as possible. So, crack the volume to 11 and let’s get ready to rock.

Brandon and Fat Tony pay their respects to the fallen Prince of Darkness and discuss his career from Black Sabbath, his stellar solo career and the final Back to the Beginning concert. However, with the passing of Ozzy Phatphuk Scott not only returns to the Black Lodge to pay tribute to the Ozzman the Rant Army were graced with presence of Slayer and Exodus guitarist, Gary Holt.
